For many instances, more than one lining material may be used to protect your storage material to the greatest degree possible. For example, in a flour silo, you may want to eliminate the risk of chipping and flaking paint chips from falling into the silo with the flour. To adequately protect the silo, the silo would be cleaned and sandblasted and then given two layers of low odor, food-grade epoxy. This method is chosen to adhere to USDA specifications.
