FLY ASH SILO CLEANOUT

At a Midwest Power Station, a steel Fly Ash Silo faced substantial buildup and structural issues. The client was in urgent need to get their Steel Ash Silo emptied before any more structural damages or dangerous conditions could occur. The 2,000 tons of non-flowing ash had been residing in the tank since the 1980’s. The Fly Ash had undergone years of water intrusion, and compaction, resulting in a rock hard state.

CEMENT DOME CLEAN OUT

A large cement storage terminal in Louisiana experienced a major discharge failure when the reclaimer system of their dome failed stranding approximately 20,000 tons of usable cement. Unable to discharge any product from the dome, they were faced with the dilemma of how to safely remove the cement to get the reclaimer repaired and operational. They had tried several other silo cleaning contractors who were unable to successfully complete the project before finally calling the IA Bulk Materials crew.

SEVERE SILO CLEAN OUT

A soybean meal silo in an agricultural plant was experiencing severe material buildup causing blockage to the auger equipment inside the silo, halting its operation. Industrial Access was the only contractor available for emergency mobilization and fully equipped to handle a blockage of such large scale. Industrial Access inspected the structure and successfully removed 380 tons of material using pneumatic whips and Cardox CO2 blasting devices.

PAPER MILL KILN CARDOX BLASTING

A papermill in the eastern United States was experiencing heavy buildup in their rotary lime kiln. Industrial Access solved the problem by implementing Cardox blasting as a solution. Cardox is the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective method of clearing material buildup and blockages. This approach requires a minimum amount of maintenance and can be performed without completely interrupting the production process, making it the best new alternative in the pulp and paper industry.
