Do metal stacks need to be inspected as well?Yes, metal stacks should be inspected just like industrial chimneys. Metal stacks can wear thin, potentially causing a catastrophy at your facility?
If a problem is found in our chimney or smokestack during the inspection, can you address the problem immediately?Yes, the Industrial Access Team comes prepared to address any urgent issues during the chimney/stack inspection with consent of the plant contact.
How long does it take to get the written inspection report? We normally will have a full written report back to our plant representative within 10-14 business days. Our written report is anywhere from 30- 45 pages depending on the number of chimneys or stacks being inspected.
Can you do exterior work on a stack while the stack is running?Yes, most repairs on the exterior of industrial chimneys and smokestacks can be repaired during normal plant operating hours. However, there are some repairs that require the stack to be inactive.
